Hmmm. Have the teabaggers been quiet lately or is it just me?
Living in a blue city in a red state...I have to listen to a lot of crap at work. A lot of people drive into the city to work. But it seems like ever since the thwarted bomber was caught...by the police. And the oil spill has shown out of control oil..with more regulations necessary. And the flood here in Nashville has cost billions...and FEMA is helping..the voices are weak if not silent. Is it just me? "The Haters", as a friend of mine called them when in DC @ the same time as one of their rallies, have lost some spiritual power..I can feel it....
it's hard to criticize while holding your hand out. Even the most ignorant of teabaggers know that the funds that will help them get back to a livable situation come from the Federal Govt. Sorta takes the wind out of their whole ideology...don't ya think?
Head on over to East TN and you'll hear lots of tea talk, plus action to boot. My guess is the East TN teabaggers will end up complaining about how much $ we got in Middle & WestTN & they didn't get any. Of course they won't want a natural disaster....just $ for THEM.:eyes:
This one gal that I work with in the hospital..In the past she talked about FEMA concentration camps and coffins built for 10 seen on trains...and this is the woman whose house is wiped out by the flood with no flood insurance and will either have to get FEMA funds or declare bankruptcy...strange reality check..
