A few friends have commented on the current state of things, and this message just came through echoing similar thoughts. It's not an official channel or anything that I can link to. Simply messages friends of friends are sharing based on intuition, meditation, etc.

"According to Grandmothers (elder spirits), a HUGE wave of new energy is going to pour in this weekend. Because it is energy with no direction, yet very powerful in nature, we must direct it with our intention. Practitioners are warned to keep a positive mindset during this weekend, NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS."

But my teacher said at the beginning of the year that this would be a year filled with emotion and that it was very important to keep our thoughts positive and to not fall into fear. I've been reminding myself of that frequently.

5. Hope it blows a lot of this stink away...

my husband's family has a quirky thing they say to kids acting up from too much pent up energy - 'Why don't you go outside and have some of that stink get blown off you.' It's probably a Texas saying but I have always found that to be pretty funny.

And the HCR is passing on Sunday too... Boehner is one who certainly needs to have the stink blown off of.

6. I've felt a lot of energy brewing

a lot. I figured HCR was a part of it, so with that due to be signed this weekend, then I'd go with that timing.

7. I've been feeling the surge in energy

this month - not good or bad, just that it can be harnessed and to keep awareness up.

Ricochetastroman says this month is just the beginning of it.

This is really cool, OGR, to be notified of its surges. I hope Grandmothers continue to keep us up on the incoming waves as we ride out the next few months.

8. Thanks for asking...

I don't feel I have any special powers, but an engagement in trying to hear the universe and experience what I call, the faces of "God". I've never succumbed to being scared. Lately, this type of paying attention tells me that-

We are feeling the harmonics of that coming "new age". I mean, hey- The Roman Catholics are having a bad day in earth school. What a slap of reality many of them must feel in general about their head of church. What exactly is the church? And, it ain't just Christianity...

An exacerbated crisis of what we have been doing to ourselves emotionally, physically, and spiritually has enabled people out there like Olberman to profoundly reach out. Rachel, Ed, Keith... I've seen some expert reaching out to progressives and some outside that realm who must see what's been going on with corporations and health deals with Congress. We have to start healing ourselves after recognizing we are rapidly being taken over.

There seems to be a churning up of awareness holding a big stick and it's about to hit those not paying attention in the head with a wake up call. Before we all start to blame each other further, we have to realize we're in the middle of a hell of a storm.

There is no place to go BUT positively! I'm with that.

9. Friday, my cousin (daughter of my favorite relative who passed on) is coming to stay

stay with us for four days. She is seeking me out because her father and I were so close and he passed when she was five.S he finally figured out she needed to seek me out after all these years. Big energy in this house!

11. I've been having a weird week ...

... like I don't want to hang out with myself anymore. Have you ever wished you could just run away from your own self? If I were a friend, I'd call a time out with my own self! I'm sad, sluggy, grumpy and ungrateful. Not a fun way to go through the day. I will work hard to hold the positive energy this weekend because I surely do not want to manifest any more of this crap!

13. HERE it is!

I was looking for this thread this morning. (See my cuss-filled OP from a few hours ago.)

An energy wave hit me this morning; I woke up in a profoundly bad mood even though I slept all night. It's occurred to me that I've had a headache since yesterday as well--right across my forehead (not at the temples). Realized I forgot two things I had to do (rectified them today but that wiped out pretty much the entire morning).

Actually, the ick might have started last night; Mr. MG was a major pissypants, acting like a teenager about his work clothes. Long stupid story that I won't relate here, but his comments fried my nards.

ANYway, so this is going to get messier over the weekend, eh? I wonder if I have enough chocolate in the house...

15. Checking in to express appreciation

the weekend was frenetic for me and contained plot twists of every kind. However I kept a positive mindset NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENED per your advice, and everything worked out just fine.

17. A clarification and a request....

I didn't post the OP as a statement that should be taken as truth or guidance or anything (though I do feel focusing on the positives is, generally, a more effective way to BE, though it's not always easy).

As with any opinion or channel or whatever, we all can interpret it differently and respond to it differently. I posted it mainly because I'm curious how others felt about the one message a friend of a friend shared...to see if you guys felt this same impending energy surge.

That said, this "focus on the positive" thing sure seems to be more and more challenging. With many of us here being empaths, it's easy to get sucked in the anger, rage, frustration, fear and general disgust floating around out there.

It's one thing to be a warrior and work toward constructively changing that which we feel is wrong or unjust or harmful; it's another to simply add to the cesspool of emotion because we're feeling out of control ourselves. Venting is cool, even necessary, and this is a safe space to do so, for which I'm so grateful.

But when we remain in that place of anger -- even internally let alone radiating it outward -- we're not helping ourselves nor anyone else.

I wish everyone a moment of peace and contentment -- perhaps pure joy! -- so it can help lift the ickiness, if only for the moment. Then we'll call forth the next moment...together.
