New February 2010 Vision, Intuition & Dream Thread...
Edited on Mon Feb-01-10 06:47 PM by FirstLight

(from http://reformed-druids.org/)

~~~~~~~~~
I Dream'd In A Dream
I DREAM'D in a dream, I saw a city invincible to the attacks of the
whole of the rest of the earth;
I dream'd that was the new City of Friends;
Nothing was greater there than the quality of Robust Love
-it led the rest;
It was seen every hour in the actions of the men of that city,
And in all their looks and words.
Walt Whitman
~~~~~~~~~

In Honour of Imbolc and the Season of Love & Harmony - Merry Meet and Blessed Be!

"May our Dreams of Spring be peaceful and inspirational, weaving harmony w/our hearts and spirits to form a New Earth
within & without
New buds are forming on the branches
and though we cannot even imagine the abundance of color in the wildflowers to come...
they are there, sleeping beneath the winter snow

this is the time for Faith, Trust and knowing that all will return again
Blessed BE the cycle
because our spirits are reborn with each return
the Light
the Spring
Newness and Possibility abound"

-Firstlight

Please post whatever comes to you this month is the form of Dreams - Visions, both spontaneous and concentrated, etc...

3. I have a bunch of stuff, but here are the only three that seem DU appropriate:
Edited on Wed Feb-03-10 12:27 PM by BlueIris
1. Spontaneous Personal Vision: Michael Jackson was not, as was predicted by mainstream media, the last super icon of the music world. The next one, probably male, is coming of age this year (my meditation tells me he's about 22 at the moment.) My impression is that his style is an odd mixture of Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain. Date: I've been poking around for info on this musician since July of '09. Tools used: intuition, pendulum.

2. SPV: The next big political scandal is right around the corner. I got a hit about its coming the usual way--that godawful "classic" pop song, "Ballroom Blitz" by The Sweets, has been randomly playing on the radio all week around here. Whenever I hear that song, I know a sleazy, creepy scandal is about to crawl out from underneath the rocks of our government. Last time I heard it was about a year ago, before Rod Blago was finally booted from his governorship. While I initially assumed the scandal would affect our party, my pendulum indicates it will be a problem for the Republicans. Date: Jan 26-31st. Tools used: Pendulum, radiomancy.

3. SPV: Sadly, I've been getting that the crisis of the nasty upcoming cardinal T-square may be a terrorist attack in Latin America. Don't know if the country could be a U.S. ally or not, and don't know what kind of attack or terrorist group(s) could be involved. Time frame for the attack would be on or around August 13, 2010. Date (of the vision): Late December 2009. Tools used: intuition, pendulum.

And I miss Blago's hair. It was as fascinating as Loni Andersons'. I'm semi-kidding :) :hi:

I know it's the National Enquirer but if the blogs pick up on this and verify it, it could be really explosive. Since Edwards was very close to the Presidency, it could change the way we select our Presidential candidates in the future.

Which I ain't gonna get into on these boards.

I have no idea what the source of the scandal will be, just that it's likely to be sleazy. The energy I pick up around it, vague and ill-defined as it is, indicates it's something nasty, oily, and corrupt. And that it will probably be more high-profile than the Edwards allegations.

7. I hope it's not about President Obama or anyone near him in
his circle. We just don't need anything like that right now. If it's about exposing the corruption in Washington in general, like "K" street, then that could have a positive outcome. I'm not feeling anything in the spirit realm about this right now, just making some on the ground observations.

mostly because we're headed into the Year of the Tiger here. U.S. presidents have not fared terribly well during Tiger Years and our sitting pres is a Democrat. In 1998, Clinton was hit with the Ken Starr nonsense, in 1986, the Reganites got hit with revelations of the Iran/Contra travesty and in 1974...Nixon.

But when I asked my pendulum which party was going to get damaged by the scandal the "Ballroom Blitz" moments were "warning" me about, it said "Republicans" not "Democrats."

12. Personal Dream... strange
I was dealing with some strange stuff in dreamland.

Like being in a old zoo enclosure, like a series of concrete rooms. And being told there were ghosts there and having to 'look' for the story in the walls... seeing that the story was about a gorilla/chimp that killed two children. A toddler and an infant, two boys. I think it was a female that took the babies from a human, and then when realizing they were not her babies, she killed them. what was wierder is that i went back in time to the event and held the children and spoke to their little souls before they were gone.... I could smell the baby smell and at the same time 'talk' to them as if they were adults.
Then I came back to the time in the dream where i was walking through the empty concrete structure and telling the parents what I could pick up... that the kids were fine now and they knew that their deaths had been a learning experience for the parents...

wierd stuff, lots more but it is fading and disjointed in the light of day

wonder what this is about? I wonder if something like this will pop out in the news sometime soon or if it was just something for me to figure out...?

14. Flying Dream
Had one last night, where I sat in Zazen, arms out with mudras, and levitated, worked on mastering direction, and approached and attempted to teach a couple of people in a loud voice that all it takes is Will, that all things are only ideas, etc.

At least I had fun; they were completely uninterested.

I am always grateful for flying dreams but this is the first time I've limited myself to the realm of other people, or have been in a traditional pose of any sort.

20. the linked article gives that figure
20% already patented.

It's ridiculous. As they state in the article, the pharma can patent their specific tests...but to patent genes. It is infuriating. Reminds of when the rice company that makes (or made) Texmati rice patented (or tried to patent) its genome, which came from Indian basmati rice, and then tried to enforce it against...India. Seriously, they tried to make Indian basmati growers pay a licensing fee to sell the rice they'd been growing for thousands of years. x( As soon as I read about that, I started a personal boycott of Texmati rice (which I'd bought regularly up until then). They lost. Haven't seen Texmati in the supermarket for years now. Hope it put them out of business, the scummy thieves.

19. For those here and lurking who contest "Knowing".
There are far more powerful "Seers" out there other than myself, seek them if you wish specific information. The purpose of my having presented some indication of my own ability is =only= to underline what I have found to be true about 2012 and getting there, for the benefit of any who wish, as it is a major, wonderful change, with difficulties along the road. Forewarned is forearmed.

I've summarized the small list of what I've presented for any to bookmark in case of doubt or in need of time-saving links. Cheers.

22. I'm sorry, FWWM......

As I'm the one who has posted about Knowing periodically, I am probably one of those to whom you speak. :)

I just wanted to say that I address that subject not to be a skeptic or negative in any way -- that most certainly is not my intent. Indeed, it is with a genuine curiosity -- from someone who has never known anything, to others who indeed DO know things. And I've shared how I personally respond to ways these are presented...simply from my perspective.

I apologize if I ever phrased things in a way that seemed combative or anything of the sort.

Again, that was not my intent. I say Godspeed to those who know and I appreciate the sharing of these knowings!!!!!

As you say, it is the reader/listener who must determine if it resonates or not. But I truly, truly thank you and others for sharing your knowings.

My questions come from my own personal perspective and at times wanting to understand things more.

Please accept my apologies.

:hug:

21. Alternate reality dream--Orwellian
Wow, I haven't had an Orwellian dream in ages. But last night I dreamt that I was in the near future, and it was very 1984-ish. Everyone was afraid to say what they thought in case someone was listening, and everyone was very much on their guard because they were afraid that others who seemed to be sincere could be government agents or informants who would turn them in for saying/thinking the wrong thing (anything critical of the government).

My dream bounced around in time (possibly going backward). In the first bit I was an IT kind of person helping set up a luncheon for government officials. However, some members of the IT team, including me and the boss, were activists/revolutionaries. We set everything up like we were supposed to, but at the last minute the boss sent everyone else out of the room and he had me sabotage these electronic devices that were beside each plate. They looked kind of like cell phones but weren't. I don't know what they were supposed to do. My boss had me break them all by twisting the tops. I'm also not sure what that was supposed to accomplish, but it was quite the daring thing to do.
Also in that same time frame, the news went out that our president was dead. The president was Palin. :scared: Interestingly enough, nobody seemed to care much, although everyone was suspicious about how suddenly yet casually it was announced. We seemed to take it as a matter of course that it was an inside job because she had outlived her usefulness and was becoming a pain. ("Becoming"?!) I also kind of "knew" the backstory, that someone else (a Republican) had been president, and she took over by shady means, so nobody liked her, not even her fellow Republicans. Later we (the activists) found out some secret information--that she wasn't dead, but instead was in suspended animation and scientists were working on cloning her and coming up with a "better" (more docile and obedient) version of her. It was kind of gratifying to think of her floating in a giant jar for all eternity, but of course that meant we were going to have to stop the cloning efforts.

Then it was earlier in time. I was a young college graduate who just got a government job. I got the impression that it wasn't my choice--I was informed that that was the career that was chosen for me. I was very "green"--kept talking to people openly about things and freaking them out. People couldn't get away from me fast enough in case I got in trouble and they were implicated as well, simply by being seen with me.

I was brought to a big office building with a bunch of cubicles. It looked almost like a warehouse. And the ceiling, which was dozens of feet up, was painted a midnight blue to offset the glaring fluorescent lights and because it had been found to be psychologically soothing. My orientation interview was going to be conducted by the high muckety muck of the division, who turned out to be Palin. (I have never dreamed of her before, BTW, and dreaming about her repeatedly last night was very annoying!) This was before she became president. She sat me down in a cubicle and interviewed me to find out my "suitability" and to inform me how wonderful the division was. Farther into the warehouse was a giant play area that extended up toward the ceiling--a daycare center for the employees with children right in the same place as the offices. She was very proud of that. It even extended to the spot right over our heads. (There was a giant net under the play area, which was like a massive plastic tree with bright yellow slides and ladders and ropes, and over our heads, so the kids didn't fall onto the office workers.)

Weird. Disturbing. I really don't like having dreams with such an Orwellian bent, because it reminds me of how close we came to actually achieving that. However, after spending that much time in a dream where people weren't allowed to speak freely, it helped me appreciate how much freedom we actually still have--something we tend to forget when we get crabby about our country.

23. Snake dream

I had a rather intense dream last night. I'm terrified of snakes but fully recognize that, spiritually, they are powerful creatures with many messages.

I don't remember much about it, but I was at home -- though "home" didn't look like where I live now -- and I was wearing a white, flowing nightgown. It was dusk, and for some reason I was sitting outside on the ground. I didn't feel unusual nor did the dream feel especially "magickal" or anything.

Then I got bit by a snake. On my left hand which was resting on the earth. The snake would NOT let go. I remember feeling the intense pain and it lasted forever. I couldn't even try to shake the snake off...I just had to wait until it finally let go.

Oh geez, it hurt so much!!! lolol And I was TERRIFIED! I saw four distinct puncture wounds on my hand, and started to run into the house to get help. As I ran, I remember thinking, "I have to tell, Steph!!!!! And it's my left hand....I'm receiving something!!!!"

Steph is a dear friend of mine in Canada. I wrote her about the dream first thing this morning, and she replied with a journal entry of hers that I had never seen which was describing a dream, a dream nearly EXACTLY the same as mine. The intense pain, the snake not letting go, etc. Of course, she feels it is an initiation, a powerful initiation of sorts for both of us.

I do find it special that we had the same dream within a short period of time.

There are many messages with snake dreams, I realize, but another dear sister shared the following which resonates strongly:

"When one is bitten by a snake in a dream, this often actually points to overcoming a situation that appeared dire. The a snake bit dream may point to learning to overcome a situation and regain your power in life. Snake bites can be viewed as in injection of wisdom, rather than life threatening venom."

25. PV: "Heaven on Earth", or Co-Creator energy is already available.
Those who wish to grow quickly, or anything else, will feel this ramping up as they put energy into whatever they are after. If it is not visible to any reading this, please consider sensing the trends in order to draw a conclusion, especially regarding the outcome and hangover from sustained, extreme emotions. Have a 2-Minute Hate regarding your favorite negative/frustration. Concentrate; put as much energy into it as you can. See if your energy level goes down for a while afterward, etc.

Now try it with joy.

The thing is, the higher dimensions (Love, etc.) are now anchored on Earth, the vibration is rising in general, but it's not going to be at the point where everyone knows something significant is occurring for a while yet, perhaps even a year from now. What is important is to take action, to determine to be in a higher emotional/energy state, in order to see what there is to see. If you are already normally in Love, and Love for Earth, etc., then you will feel how it has deepened and opened. If you are normally in tension, doubt, or even outright negativity, you can put on your favorite comedy, re-read your favorite book, or just go out and feel deeply, Love for the sunset, for the grass and trees and animal at your local park, etc. Spend time and energy getting into and being in happiness/joy/Love, and you will see how it is increasing.

But you have to make the effort. If you have negativity plaguing you, if you dislike or even outrightly hate yourself, or others (hate for others is usually hate for self and self's vulnerabilities/lacks projected onto others), then you'll need to work to let go of this state in order to be more easily able to spend adequate time in joy, etc. Thing is, you even output your regular state of thinking/beliefs/energy in your dreams, so you may wake with a loss of energy and even a bad mood. Lucid dreaming is not for you, yet. Spend time in contrary action, which is to determine to get into a happier place whenever you find yourself in any negativity. Doing charitable work is a superb method of overcoming any focus upon your own situation. The more time spent making things better for others, the less time you have to spend wallowing, and the more you'll come to -stay- in positive states of mind and energy.

It's worth the work. I say this as someone who nearly tore himself apart at the root level in response to many factors that were completely beyond my control. Sustained effort has made it possible for me to at least be in a place where I no longer dwell. I spend a lot of time praying for the benefit of others using the Anapanasati Sutra mindful breathing technique. It really works.

In other words, you can choose to be happy, or happier. It becomes a habit!

26. I agree, FWWM...

Our recent give-and-take kind of reminds me of discussions we used to have at a spiritual board AGES ago. More than a decade ago.

So many were evaluating and discussing the dimensions and vibration and frequency of Mother Earth...evaluating techniques for this, that and the other.

I was interested yet, in truth, I get overwhelmed easily with such things.

I was always in alignment with what you are sharing here. I believe wholeheartedly in vibration...in energy. I don't understand it wholly -- not from a physics perspective -- but I simply believe all things are made of energy,including thoughts,and that energy is made up of different vibration levels.

I'm very, very simplistic, as you've probably noticed. ;) I often don't understand what is being shared here -- I often don't understand what you are saying, truth be told.

HOWEVER, your overriding message of choosing to be happy...and happier :)...is something I embrace entirely.

In the midst of these myriad spiritual discussions about technique, insights, ascension, etc., etc., what it always comes down to, for me, is this:

In our heart of hearts, so long as we are genuinely in touch with our feelings, what makes us FEEL better?

Focusing on something we dislike or that we feel we lack doesn't make most of us FEEL better. Instead, focusing on what we choose to experience, or maintaining a space of gratitude for all the goodness that IS around us usually makes most of us FEEL better.

And to me, our feelings are pivotal, as our vibration is tied to our feelings.

For me, that's the approach I must take in order to not lose my sanity. ;)

It's easy to be overwhelmed with all the negatives and evils and suffering we see all around and experience ourselves perhaps.

But, as for the day-to-day basics, I agree with you (if I'm understanding you correctly?) that the most effective thing we can do is to keep as high a vibration as possible...by watching our focus...and that will radiate out in concrete ways, helping to raise the vibration of all around and to Mother Earth.

Yes, TPTB are conspiring and actively seeking to gain control over everything, and being aware is -- for many people -- a positive space, an empowering place to be. Yet even with that awareness, there is still a choice of where we place our focus, and thus our vibration. Do we take that awareness and focus on fear, or -- knowing there is evil out there -- still make the minute-by-minute decision to focus on love? Or at least do our best in that regard.

That's within our full control.

:hug:

28. "And to me, our feelings are pivotal, as our vibration is tied to our feelings."
Yes, truly. "Energy follows thought", said Carl Jung, and as you also said, it is to choose to be in a positive energy in order to do both ourselves and the world some good. It's now a choice.

I have collected much highly negative music in my day, as catharsis and validation for my experiences; listening to it now leaves me drained and finding difficulty moving out of that energy. What you set your attention upon matters greatly. Positive energy of course follows positive thought, so challenge any lower moods you find yourself in with something very positive-- and then work to stay there. Build those muscles...and see for yourself about it becoming easier to do so, once you've determined to do it and sticking with it for a little while...

A friend of mine said she read somewhere that the act of smiling -- and the muscles used -- has a positive effect (endorphins, perhaps?), even if you don't FEEL happy at the moment. You said to "build those muscles," and it reminded me of using our literal facial muscles. :)

I try to do that. When I don't feel like it whatever, yet I recognize that I'm miserable and/or uber stressed (and sometimes the sheer recognition is half the battle...we can get lost in the abyss and not consciously realize it), I remind myself to literally smile. Not just from within, but use those smile muscles.

Smile! :)

"Energy follows thought." -Carl Jung
