A case of reincarnation?

I found this article in the Irish Independent News.
In the US, a man drew a picture, as he imagined her, of someone who lived in the 14th Century. He did it after reading a story of her in the library.

A few years later, an Irish woman wrote a book about this 14th Century woman.

The picture of the 14th Century woman looks like the author of the book.
