1. Very uplifting news!

I am very curious about all of his references to things that transpired
70 YEARS AGO!! I am 70 year's old. I am an only child, who always felt like I was just visiting this earth, and was still connected to something else OUT THERE! His letter this month gave me "shivers" up and down my spine. Could this be possible? I've often wondered if the "special" feeling was because I was an only child. How many others of you here on the forum are only children? It would be interesting to know. This letter just blew me away.

My parents are in their 70s and I see the division between fear and hope in their health and mental states.

My dad is in the dark, very bitter and angry and fed by the hate machine by watching Fox non-stop...
My mom is trying to learn more about herself and has made great strides in opening her mind & heart. She is still a "product of her generation" in much of her impressions...but has come a long way.
Recently, my dad has been getting more & more ill, mentally. He is slowly going senile and my mother has had to stand up to his abusive behaviors in a way she never has... And she is looking forward, understanding that as much as she loves him and holds compassion for him, she may have to let him go. (whether this eventually means putting him in a home or what, he hasn't reached that point yet - but taking his driver license away in the near future will be hell for sure)

It is interesting to see the shift play out like this in two PEOPLE...especially those who have been married/enmeshed for 45 years!

In the meantime, i am flushing major stuff out of my physical body too... though I have to remember to pray and meditate more!
how much of this 'gunk' is residual patterning from my parents and the 3d mentality? hmmmm

4. Wow, the timing of this message is perfect! (I know, of course it is)

As I watch what is going on around me, the increase in vitriol, anger, hate, etc., I have found myself sometimes feeling scared that once again, nothing will change. I don't always feel that way, but I have enough that it has bothered me. I have been wondering why things are as they are right now, and have been feeling a bit scared by it sometimes. I have wanted to ask others in the group how they are feeling.

And then today, I check in to ASAH, and there is Matthew's latest message, with answers to many of the questions that had been swirling around in my head.

Good stuff. Very good stuff.
