Need healing thoughts
All of our pets have suffered from pet food poisoning three years ago. One is now in kidney failure at the Vet since Friday. Please send good thoughts of healing for Smudgie. He is a four yr.old black sweet kit who needs energy and prayers of healing.

7. Update
I have never ever posted asking for healing thoughts for anything before but am deeply convinced of the power of "good" energy in the Universe.

My Vet called today and said that Smudgie had a miracle and even he could not believe it. He administered larger than normal IVs of fluids this past weekend because he was loosing him as his temp was falling. Then today, his levels were pretty much normal. He was shocked.

My husband visited him and said that he was alert and still had a ways to go but overall looked far far much better than when he was brought in.

Thank you everyone. Keep it going if you can. Maybe we will see him at home again. This is all appreciated as our other kitty and dog are recovering also from the long slog of the poisoning from three years ago.

Something crazy is definitely going on in the planets right now.

9. Wow, that's great, Glinda!
I didn't post in response to your initial request, but I did send energy to Smudgie. Happy to hear he's doing better. Happy to send an extra boost to make sure he'll heal quickly.

I agree about the "something crazy" part!!

13. Update #2
Smudgie is still in the hospital. He is off his catheter and peeing and his tests are coming out normal. He still will not eat. Well except today he ate about a tablespoon from a Vet assistant's hand. The Vet said "whatever you are doing.... if it is praying... .keep it going as it seems to be working".

He has no idea.
:>)

Thank you everyone for helping. I hope to hear tomorrow if we can attempt to bring him home. If we can, I will show a picture of him.

:hi: :hi: :hi: :hi: :hi: :loveya: :grouphug: :loveya: :woohoo:

19. Update #3
No Smudgie today. His bladder cannot contract at all. On the positive side he ate on his own. They are going to try a drug on him and go from there.

I wish that the planets would give me a break. We had one pup in for cancer surgery (tumors from poisoned food I am pretty sure), two cats in for urinary (one with kidney failure) as a result of poisoned food and now Smudgie in for kidney failure. All within a little over the last month and a half. Charge card is maxing out.

I guess the planets and good thoughts are giving me a break even though we feel overwhelmed. So thank you all again.

22. Update #4
Am feeling rather silly but I feel so very indebted and grateful to everyone here. :>)
Smudgie took a turn for the worse and had difficulty breathing Friday evening and saturday. The Vet called me actually at midnight of all things because he felt so very bad. I was up as I could not sleep anyways.
Smudgie's sister has a small and deformed heart. Then add bad pet-food to that. We both wondered if Smudgie had the same heart problem. He is nearly 30 lbs. (don't laugh) but a sweet gentle seal-black giant with two green-yellow moons for eyes.
He proceeded with heart medication and Smudgie is breathing much better. Tomorrow he may do an x-ray to see if that is the problem. We are hopeful he will be able to be put on medicine for his heart and hope that he will eat by his self again. We hope. It has been over a week now he has been at the Vet.
I am going outside tonight to hold my thoughts and image of him to the stars and think of him coming home. I want to thank everyone for all the energy passing his way. You are all really amazing.

from there if all goes well. The Vet's wife came in and held him. He likes girls.

Smudgie eating on his own normal amounts, drinking water and acting alert. They pulled his tube out today to see if he can pee. Vet is hoping he can come home in a day or two depending the outcome of his functioning. He may have to have surgery to make sure he can function. Geeeeeeeeeze... from dying to resurrection. He must be getting long distance hugs and petting for sure. I just know...I just know it is people thinking good thoughts for him.

38. Thanks to all!! As the Vet had said..."Whatever you are doing, keep doing it"
This was while he was having difficulty breathing and had declining body function in all respects. I told him that it was because of wonderful caring people who were sending energy. He just looked at me almost shocked but totally amazed. Three cats came in that weekend with kidney issues. Smudgie was the only one who made it. He sends a big "Purrrrrrrrr".

I'm so sad that the other two didn't make it. I hope that they weren't having pet food-related issues as well. :(
