I have no idea how this will end. I do know it has been very divisive. I called three Florida congressional leaders today, asked them to own up to Florida's blame in this issue. I told them that the constant tactics of holding Governor Dean up to ridicule would not work in the long term. It might fool a few gullible people, but not too many anymore.
He offered a revote, said he was trying to be fair to all involved. He said it on 6 TV appearances. People heard, and some now wonder why all of a sudden the Florida leaders are so unsure of what they want.
Florida leaders have never done the one thing they need to do. They have never taken responsibility for their actions.
