I just buried Big Tommy

It's breaking my heart. I lost both my white kitties within about a week of each other. Both hit by cars.

He was about a quarter mile down the road.

He was such a fine beautiful cat.









I'm all sick and sad inside.

this must be the week for losing pets, my friend lost his 11 yr. old yellow lab to blood cancer on Saturday.

8. I understand, I buried Henry yesterday.

It's killing me, I'm such a wuss. He was only 6 years old. He was a Lab mix, long brown hair with blond sideburns and big tufts of hair sticking out between his toes like a Hobbit. He had more personality and heart than I can describe. He died of cancer yesterday morning, 4:30. The incompetent vet did not diagnose it until the day before Henry died, after 2 weeks of treatment, not that it might have made much difference.

I hope you do not feel as bad as I do. As rotten as it is we must go on, and the best I think we can do is to honor our fallen friends by treating their four footed comrades as we would our great friends.

you wonder why we keep these creatures with us, the parting is so hard. All I can do is treat Henry's surviving buddy Jack like a god. He seems to be taking it hard too.

The tough part will be going home this afternoon. Henry LOVED cows and we pass many, may have to stop for a little while.......
