If you have not read her book, I highly recommend it. It is no Illiad, but the story is very touching, and I think all of us in this forum can relate to how strongly we bond to our furkids.

I will check it out. My cats aren't blind, but 13 and diabetic fits. The diet, screening caretakers, shots...know it all too well.
