Feline head tremors
I have a 13 year old (approximately) cat who was lying on the bed while I was cleaning the bedroom. After patting him on the head, I sat with him and noticed that he kept shaking his head, not wild shaking, but like little tremors.
I called the vet's office but it's closed. I'm going to call first thing tomorrow and see if I can get an appointment. This has me frightened.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

1. Did you check for ear mites?

2. After the vet suggested it, yes
His ears are clean. So far, no repeat of the tremors. I'm just going to watch him to see if it happens again.

3. Check for fleas, too - you might have
brought some in on your shoes. Get a cat flea comb.

4. That cat has an allergy to fleas
I learned it several years ago when he started moping around and hiding. He seemed to be miserable. I brought him to the vet who determined he was allergic to fleas. So if this guy had fleas, he'd exhibit a lot of other signs, as he did before.
Thanks for the suggestion.
