I took this on a cheap digital and it got corrupted but I managed to save a copy.

I took this right after I brought them home (7 weeks); not the best shot but so CUTE!
It wasn't long afterward I asked the DU Lounge what I should name them.

Here they are now:

1. Awww...adorable!

beautiful shots as adults, too. What did you name them?

They both remind me of one of my long gone rescue kitties; Mishka. she had a long life and I still miss her. :cry:

2. Pixel and Baby

Pixel because I'm into computer graphics (a pixel pusher) and Baby because she was little and treated me like her mother.

4. Are they a breed? They're gorgeous.

My Mina is 11, very territorial, loner just like her
mama, so I couldn't get another cat right now, so I've
decided that when she's gone I'm going to get a couple
of sisters to keep me company.

10. I have no idea what they are. I gather they are mixed.

Some have speculated that there is some Maine Coon in them.
They were a gift from a classmate of mine. I was shocked to get them (that was a BOLD gift!).

They look so much alike, even though their coloring is slightly different, their ears and eyes are almost identical.

13. Isn't it funny how all babies have blue eyes?

humans, kittens, etc. You don't know what color their eyes will be until they hit about 4 months -- humans or cats! In my case, my daughters (the humans) both had blue eyes as newborns, and their eyes turned brown within 6-9 months. My one daughter had the biggest puppy dog eyes, caramel color. Older one has Hershey Bar eyes, we laugh about that. (Mine are green and they are both jealous that they did not get my eye color, Dad won out)

Cats? Well, the Daemon looked like your fuzzbutt without all the fur, but when he hit 4 months his eyes turned gold. Sebastian was blue too, but his turned lemony-green.

I don't think I have ever seen a kitten whose eyes stayed the same color as they were at birth, have you?
