My cat Pierre is really twisted. When I sit on the toilet, he will
come up and bite me on the upper thigh. He has done the same thing to my roommate and her daughter. Bizarre.

1. Your cat is not alone...
my cat Sammy does the same thing when we are "indisposed." I chalk it up to typical cat behavior. Actually, I think it's a love bite, as cats will do that to show their affection.

6. Ditto. I cannot remember the last time I was allowed to use the bathroom alone.

3. Going to the bathroom is a Family Undertaking here...
I head into the loo, and it's very rare that at least one of the cats doesn't come in to see what I'm up to.

And....since the litterboxes are in the bathroom, they'll usually decide to make a pitstop as well...which (by the sound of digging, or maybe the resulting smell) will usually attract whoever didn't show up immediately.

Take turns, no shoving, and no fair jumping on someone while they're taking a leak.

4. My little persian, Peeper (RIP) used to come in the bathroom
every time I sat on the toilet and would jump onto my lap to get petted. She had plenty of lap time from my husband and me, but she would come running from wherever she happened to be in order to sit on my lap. What a crazy, beautiful kitty she was. Lived to be nearly 20 yrs. old.

5. It is a violation of an important Cat Rule if a human remains in a bathroom
unattended by at least one cat. Biting naked thighs is optional, however.
