1. My cat Puck likes fruit (including bananas) that is
dried and crunchy. Just be careful not to give kitty too much, because the sugar can cause diabetes.

4. Lily loves cantalope so much
my family calls it "catalope". And yes I agree that you should only give them a small taste of anything sweet.

Pad Thai might play with fruit but I don't think he'd eat any.

6. Cantaloupe is actually good for cats
not in large quantities daily, of course, but I read somewhere that it aids digestion and helps eliminate hairballs. It doesn't have as high a sugar content as many other fruits, as well.

My theory is that the texture of cantalope is similar to that of raw meat, thus the attraction for most cats .

5. My dogs love bananas with/without peanut butter
They both love raw veggies and other fruit too. If they hear me scraping a carrot, they come running to the kitchen to get a piece.

7. "people food"
After reading all the stuff about giving cats "people food" (aka natural food!), I tried it this week. I give them their dry food (allergy specific, for Bubba) and instead of tinned food twice a day for Gracie, I've been cooking an extra portion of whatever meat I'm having for the week, and shredding it for her. She LOVES it! She had a little roast one day, and some chicken once, and a cooked carrot (a big NO go). She still eats the processed dried food and quite a bit of tinned since I cook a lot of cassaroles for my family, but it's fun cooking her extra treats when I'm eating "plain" meat. Yea, natural foods!

9. my cat loves 'people food'
she is a hungry little devil. She eats spaghetti, ginger snaps, biscuits, french fries---any thing that smells interesting to her.

She LOVES ham and turkey. If I make a sandwich, I have to save apiece of lunchmeat for her or she will not let me eat in peace.
