So, I asked about my dog getting sick when I leave town..the vet's office recommended Rescue Relief.
which is a natural calmant (my dog gets diarrhea when I leave town and have a dog sitter) So I buy the Rescue Relief, get home and read the label...it's 27% alcohol! So much for the "natural flowers and stuff" that they told me it was! I'm still going to try it b/c several people have recommended it to me but...I would hardly characterize this as a "natural flower" concoction! Has anybody used it? Thanks

1. the shelter that I volunteer at puts it in their water for the cats routinely
and give the critter an extra dose if they have a special appointment or something stressful coming up. Their website advertises it as "yoga in a bottle" www.rescueremedy.com and humans can benefit from it also. Give it a try- I doubt that there is too much alcohol for normal use.

2. Rescue Remedy is wonderful! I have a shy Golden Retriever who gets
anxious in a variety of situations and the Rescue Remedy works wonderfully for him. I don't know if it is the alcohol or the flowers and stuff -- but it works.

:hi:

4. Rescue Remedy Update... I was gone for 4 nights..and my dog did not get sick AT ALL
while I was away..my neighbor says she seemed fine, happy and playful the entire time ..and no diarrhea! I strongly recommend this to anyone with a similar problem and I was very sceptical...2 sprays in the morning and 2 sprays in the evening...

6. You can get Rescue Remedy at any health food store
it comes in a liquid and in a cream, depending on what's ailing you (or your pet).

7. you can also get it here in CO
at Petsmart or a smaller animal food and supply store. I am so glad that it worked. Their website does advertise it as "yoga in a bottle" and Bach flower essences makes many different formulas for many different needs, good for both animals and humans.

10. It didn't help me deal with my mother
I bought it for the cat, but tried using it myself when my father was ill and I had to deal with my mother.

Absolutely no benefit at all. Pinot Grigiot, on the other hand, now that worked...
