I have a long standing rule - no crying at work.

Any animal my husband and I would like to have in the future will definitely come from the pound. I wish I could take them all.

8. I prefer a homeless animal over some pet shop animal.

Except for my bird, which you never find homeless.
They really seem to KNOW you have rescued them.
I love my kitty...she was a wild thang when I first got her having lived on the streets until she was 6 mos old.
She is an indoor cat, and only had an appetite for portable phone antennas and the rubber portions of door stops. She has gotten better!
I never allowed her to have kittens which I sometimes regret. She is the best kitty and if I had scads of money, I would probably clone her.
