Cat dials 911 and saves owner's life
My cat wouldn't call unless her food and water ran out first.....

1. That's one smart, devoted kitty
Rosheisen got the cat three years ago to help lower his blood pressure. He tried to train him to call 911, unsure if the training ever stuck.

The phone in the living room is always on the floor, and there are 12 small buttons including a speed dial for 911 right above the button for the speaker phone.

Yes, Mr. Rosheisen, the training did stick. Kitty saved your life.

So much for the myth of the faithless cat. O8) O8) O8)

2. I can just imagine the thoughts in my cat's head
"why isn't she moving? She can't very well feed me from that position. Does she think the cans are going to open themselves? And how about my comb? I don't see anyone brushing the cat."

Given past experience (sleeping off the effects of jet lag) she'd be more likely to start biting than dialing if the food wasn't forthcoming...

3. I'm not in the least surprised
Pad Thai can jump on the Boise radio and select Jesus music at 3 am to wake up and irritate me. He's programmed the Jesus music to all the buttons even. I'm sure he could dial 911 if the need arose.
