Cozumel Humane Society needs food.

I got this from a Cozumel discussion board. I was supposed to be there in a couple weeks, but Wilma hit them reeally, really hard.

Hello all. Long time reader, first time poster. Wish we were meeting under happier circumstances....I am a volunteer at the humane society, and have lived on the island for 6 of the last 18 months as a renter. I am currently in Seattle. My "real" home.
Briefly heard from Lisa at Rock N Java and the Humane Society. She, Raul and her daughter B are all ok. Rock N Java's contents were 100% lost.

In all this, Lisa is asking for help for the Cozumel Humane Society. She wants to report the Humane Society's condition: 18 dogs weathered the storm in an apartment. The windows broke and water washed through. All the dogs survived the storm but were VERY hungry when help arrived. The cats weathered the storm inside the HS office. unfortunately, 4 kittens were lost. Complete assesment of the facility has not been made yet.

Currently, they are in dire need of pet food. Hopefully supplies will arrive soon. Any one with ideas (are you on the island, or going soon?) please post here or e-mail me privately. They also have a paypal link I can post if there is interest.
