Anyone ever hear of nok nok
It is a keylogger and is the bane of my existance.

Apparently it has corrupted my windoze installation, to the point that system restore is missing.

I do not have a "windows CD ROM) for this machine, but I do have a set of recovery discs from the computer's manufacturer.

How do I go about repairing my windoze installation without an actual windoze disc. Or am I out of luck?

At this point I am in the process of burning all recoverable data to CDs. Thankfully I have a recent full backup on my external hard drive. but still.

1. Have you tried using the recovery disks?
Windows should be on the recovery disks. You should be able to run a repair option by booting up with the CD in. The repair option will just replace all the windows files so your data should be ok but you definitely want to back up anything you need before you run the repair just in case anything goes wrong.

2. Its designed as snoopware
to find out what sites you're visiting, emails sent, etc. It encrypts itself and hides unless you have its password. Somebody is spying on you and deliberately installed this on your computer to see what you are doing.
