I would like recommendations on domain reg and host/parking
Where is the least expensive, but GOOD place to register 5-10 domain names?
What about hosting/parking the names? where would be the least expensive but GOOD place.

Also any answers to this in conjunction with the questions above:
How/where do you register a domain in a manner that no one can do a whois and find personal info on you? or be able to send you spam?

Feel free to go on at length with your knowledge/ and opinions.

1. Go daddy is very cheap
EZ Domain hosting is nice, but a bit more per registration, however I like their features more. I think godaddy is around $8 ish and ez-domain is 12ish. You'll have to pay your registrar to 'hide' your whois. What they do is register it with their information so the whois will report ez-domainnameregistration.com or whatever instead of Ouabache, address etc. Of course you could always lie about you info in the registration, but thats illegal and could actually reduce your legal right to your domain!

Just make sure you go with a registrar that allows domain registration locking! Otherwise, with the new rules, its very easy for a malicious person to 'bump' your domain, especially if you don't check the email you registered with every day!

Cheers! :toast:

3. at godaddy, you may want to use the option to be anonymous
When you register a domain if someone looks it up on arins whois they will see your name, address, etc. For something like an extra 5-8 bucks you can keep your identity secret and it will only show "domainsby proxy as the registrant.
