How things can change drastically in Google search results...
Not really posting for help or support, but thought I'd share something I learned last evening. We all know that Google's search results can be manipulated, but I just found a rather extreme example.

I use Google.ca sometimes because it seems to get cleaner more accurate search results. In the past, when I typed in Canadian Radio Stations, the first result returned was for the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. The last time I typed in this query was probably about two weeks ago. Last night, I typed it in so I could go to listen to some advertisement-free classical music, and the CBC's website was no where to be found. It had been pushed out by all sorts of things, like "godlikeproductions", etc.

Fortunately, I remembered the original URL, because trying to find it in Google would have been pointless. This is what Google has become.

How sad that such a good thing could turn in to such a mess.

2. So true...
I avoid Wikipedia. I'm one of those people who would prefer to search out the information myself which makes the loss what used to be exceptional Google results even more disappointing.

3. Bing
I didn't like Bing when it first went online, but it's now my default browser. CBC is within the first result there for your query.

I just recall Bing's search results as being very retail oriented and not generally helpful for researching obscure things. But, it's been a while.

eta for typo. Hadn't had that second cup of coffee.
