Why am I getting "Waol, This program has performed an illegal function"

I am pet sitting and I can't get onto DU because the program keeps shutting down (she has a PC and AOL is the browser).

Does anyone know what this is and how to fix it? I would appreciate any help or advice (preferably in laymans terms as I am not a tech whiz.) Thanks :)

1. does she have IE on the PC ??

you might be able to minimize the AOL browser and just open IE ... she might have a shortcut for it or you might be able to find it via "Start Menu/Programs" ...

maybe AOL doesn't care for progressive websites ... who knows ...

2. Ha Ha! That's what I was thinking - AOL wouldn't let me on DU

3. It's The Executable For AOL.

I know it's easy for someone like me to say, but she really needs to find an alternative to AOL. Her whole PC will be better off for it.

4. Drop AOL and Windows...

Convince her to go Open Source w/ Linux and Firefox. AOL and Microshaft aren't worth the hassle or money.
