Question about installing/uninstalling iTunes
Well, I broke my iTunes. I was trying to download an audio file that I wanted to put on my iPod but I could not find a way to download the file. Every time I clicked on it, it opened with QuickTime and I saw no options anywhere for downloading rather than opening the file. So I got mad and uninstalled Quick Time. Which was stupid, I realize now. I was able to download the files after that, but then when I went to import them into iTunes, I found that iTunes needs QuickTime to run. (Duh.) There was probably a QT option I could have set instead of uninstalling it. The message I received said I needed to uninstall and reinstall iTunes. So my question is this: if I do this, will I lose any of my audio files? Will iTunes be able to find my library again? I really don't want to lose any files. When I go to install iTunes again, will it find QT and install it, too? Another question is this: once I get iTunes installed and QuickTime back, is there a way to set QuickTime so that it won't automatically open any audio file I click on?

Thanks.
