Microsoft Word doc
i'm unclear.
i have a windows xp and i use microsoft works task launcher to open up pages for me to write on. the type of file is: microsoft works word processor.

i am trying to submit a story and the agent's website is telling me to put it in "microsoft word doc"

will the files i write in work with this guys website?

if i right click on the desktop i can also open something that looks like a pad of paper that is called "text document" and that opens with "notepad"

what should i do? can someone please help?

1. I have the Vista version of MS Works, but it should be the same with XP -
when you save the file, select File > Save As,

then pick from the "Save as type" list the "*.doc" selection.

This should save it in a .doc format.
