Is there any way to get the mods to replace the obsolete pinned "security help" thread

I know this request has been made in the past and ignored by the mods, even though the OP of the old one asked. Maybe if enough sign on to this request/demand we can get the old and now confusing and misleading "help" replaced with something more current, comprehensive, and useful.

4. I knew that Berserker, who created the OP that became the pinned thread,

and thus 'has standing' had already attempted to get the mods to act. Perhaps those you linked to will be more responsive. I'll alert on my OP and send a message to whichever mod picks it up.

If they actually agree to cooperate, I think that a new post should be created, preferably by Berserker, saying something like "Questions about Computer Security? You can find advice here." with the text including the above link and encouragement to ask for further advice here, if needed.

7. I am sorry for it lasting so long

I also would like to see a new help thread posted in here. I have little time to write a new one myself. There are more timely help threads that could be posted here as a sticky. Many that come here are far more knowledgeable than myself and I am sure are willing to help.
