Wireless Mouse
Finally purchased a wireless mouse. Did not realize it is "mobile".

http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/ProductDetails.aspx?pid=113

Is there any reason it shouldn't work with my desktop?

If it will work, I am confused about setting it up. All the instructions say is plug it in the USB. Don't I need to turn off and restart after changing mice?

NOT a hardware (of any type) guy... Thanks in Advance

1. Remove that little usb thing in the bottom of the mouse ......
.... and plug it into a USB port. No need to shut the computer down. It will work right away. *IF* it came with drivers, they enhance the performance.

The mouse is "mobile" because it is small. It will work perfectly on your desktop machine, too.
