Symantic Useless Virus Protection
Damn I was just at the food network about to watch a video about meatloaf when one of those pop ups that claim to be Antivirus for windows started running a "Free Scan" on my computer. I quickly cancelled it even as the red bar was cutting across my screen and shut down my IE browser.

The whole time my Symantic Antivirus (my very expensive SA) did not a damn thing...grrrrrrrrrrrr....

grrrrrrrrr.....

1. There are three problems here
1. Most malware is technically not a virus so an antivirus may not catch it
2. Norton/Symantec is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine
3. Internet EXPLODER isn't much more useful than Symantec.

How to fix this
1. Get Malwarebytes Antimalware and run it
2. Find better aintivirus protection
3. Get a better browser

3. Your job consists of watching a food network program about meatloaf?

4. Yup!
I do research for a major multinational corporation! They don't pay much, but I get to do artwork and play the guitar and surf the net to check out all kinds of shit.
