hello, and hope someone can help with HP deskjet 612C printer....

hello, and hope someone can help with HP deskjet 612C printer....
The printer light to turn on printer won't light or come on. I press the button to turn on the printer and it won't turn on. I have gone to the HP Q & A website and it does say something about a battery but I don't know where the battery is located.....all I've ever done is replace the cartridge of ink, all other areas of the printer aren't accessible as far as I know. Hope you can help. Thank you.
