Wireless network not showing up on laptops...
This started yesterday out of the blue. At first I thought it was the connections to the router and then I thought it was the router itself. Bought a brand new router. Hooked everything up and installed it. It worked for a few minutes and then the wireless network could not be found. I replaced one of the cords with another one. Network was there for a few minutes and then it disappeared again.

I'm getting very frustrated because I cannot figure out why these wireless networks disappear and can't be found. This isn't just on one laptop. We have two of them that's doing this. One laptop is a Toshiba Satellite and is only a few months old. I'm wondering if the problem is with the desktop.

Please help me out here.

2. Does the Internet stay on if you hook the computer Via Cable?

Also....the chance of it being the new modem is fairly slim.

Have you configured the modem or Reset it??
(You usuall reset a wireless modem by inserting a paperclip wire into the small hole in the rear of the modem).
