Mouse vs touchpad
I have a Lenovo G550 laptop running W7 Pro. I have a USB mouse connected because I dislike the touchpad. Never the less if my hand accidentally touches the touchpad unpleasant surprises happen.

In looking through the device configuration screens I cannot find anything that helps or makes sense to me. I want my USB Mouse to be the default device, otherwise go to touchpad. Is this possible?

2. You are correct!
Thanks! I obviously missed that. I seem to always be telling others: "Read the book!". I'll have to start following my own advice one of these days.
