I'm a techno moran. I can use it but I don't understand it. I'm using Firefox and I've had no problems with it up to now. Today, I logged on and discovered that my bookmarks had vanished. Gone. Kaput. When I clicked on "Bookmarks" I got three lines of type - "Bookmark this page", "Manage Bookmarks" and "Bookmarks Toolbar Folder" with a little extender that said <empty>. :wtf:
So I re-imported my bookmarks from Internet Explorer (luckily they were still there in my Microsoft Office program) but they came up differently than when they were originally. Now there is a fourth line - "From Internet Explorer" - and the list of bookmarks extends from that rather than appearing when I click on the "Bookmarks" thingy on top as it used to.
Does anyone have any explanation for this and do you know how I can get them to appear as they used to appear, just extending down from the "Bookmarks" tab? It's wierd and I don't like it and they will not go into alphabetical order no matter what I do. Help!!!!
