looking to lock keyboard, but not mouse
I'm looking for an application, a download of some sort where I can just click a button with my mouse and it will lock up my keyboard so that when my cat sits on it, it doesn't mess anything up

everything I can find on download.com locks up the computer, or the mouse AND the keyboard, which would be fine, but could there be such a thing with an option to lock only the keyboard?

I love her, but this cat pisses me off

1. I've never tried this, but...
http://www.bitboost.com/

Makes a software package called PawSense, that claims to recognize the key pattern of a cat walking across a keyboard, and either lokcs it out or even makes noise to discourage the cat from walking on the keyboard again.

Cats. They’re nice pets. They also like to go places and do things that can be displeasing and destructive....either for attention or out of some sheer feline perversity we’ll never understand. Like digging up or eating houseplants. Or walking or sleeping on freshly-waxed surfaces like car hoods or motorcycle gas tanks. They also leave cat hair on things you’d rather they didn’t and scratch things they ought not to. "Bad kitty. Get outta there!" Alternatively, there is this exotic Japanese Cat Repellent. Leave it on your bike...or wherever you don’t want Fluffy to be catting around...and the royal furball will avoid that area. And leave cute paw tracks elsewhere. Made of largely natural materials including some sort of mustard oil extract that cats don’t like, this stuff will help keep kitty away from whatever you don’t want the sharp-clawed little jerk messing with. There are four varieties of this compound: a small plastic vial that holds pellets of the anti-cat material and is ideal for household use, a rather more potent gel version in jars for those problem areas kitty really has a fixation on, a recloseable vented ‘air freshener’ type jar that is ideal for use near vehicles and around the garage or basement, and a more powerful encapsulated bulk version that is perfect for use outdoors in flowerbeds or the like. Effective for several months.
