My outlook sometimes takes like 10 minutes "synchronizing folders" and "syncrhonizing message headders".

Ugh. I hate outlook, but I have to use it for my job when I work away from home....

itself with an Exchange server so you can read and compose e-mail while you are disconnected from your company's' network.
