Power supply or motherboard?
I turn on my game computer: there is a switch on the power supply (back), turn that on and press the button and the fans run lights on some boards come on, but it won't boot, on light doesn't come on and CD/DVD drawers won't open.

1. Pull the power supply and take it into a local computer repair shop
They should be able to tell you if it's working or not. If it's a bad power supply, then it's an easy fix to buy a new one and install it. If, however, the power supply is good, then you could either have 1) a bad connector from the PS to the mother board; or 2) a bad motherboard.

If you're power supply is good, make sure that all of your connectors are fully seated and the connections tightly made. The wires from your power supply should be well organized in the case - ie, no wires bumping against fans, no wires that are bent or contorted in ways they shouldn't, etc.

2. If it turns out your Pwr Sup went bad ...

Your PC is a gamer and they usually require heftier power supplies than the average desktop.

You may not have had one without a high enough rating to get the job done.

Before you get another one you might want to check here ... http://educations.newegg.com/tool/psucalc/index.html">{Click}

3. Thanks for the help. It uses a 400 watt power supply and I had a...
350 watt and while hooking it up I noticed 2 blown capacitors on the mother board - shit. This my game box and right now I'm a dog without a bone.

4. What a pisser. Ever tried building your own?

It's not that difficult. Just make sure all the components are compatible.

And allow for how you expect to use it for the next couple of years.

NewEgg is a good source. Link: http://www.newegg.com/DailyDeal.aspx?page=1
