Comm Ports
Windows XP sp3...I installed a modem and it installed on com 4. What is the easy way to find out what is on com ports 1-3? I don't have an ethernet card installed. I do have an NVidia graphics card and a creative audio card...Thanks for any insight recieved!

1. Most likely nothing
Com ports 1-4 were usually reserved for the old fashioned serial ports and dialup modems.

2. I will try going to device manager.
I'm at work now so I can't check. I have call waiting software that's supposed to sense my modem. But, it says it can't find my comm port. Can I change the comm port my modem is connected too?
