It is with great sorrow and no mean sense of deep personal loss that I must announce the passing of Samantha "Asha" Develder, noted Amiga-based artist in the halcyon days of that computer platform, often called "The First Lady of The Amiga" by people far more knowledgeable than myself in such things, an artist who continued her work and gave it away at http://ashafx.com , my good friend and non-romantic soulmate.

She left us after a long illness, passing on in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. She leaves behind family, a daughter Mika, her significant other Irving Gold, with whom she resided in San Miguel, and a legion of people who are far, far better for having known her kind, generous and gentle soul.

This is all I have at this time.
