"Live-TV to your PC". E-mail this AM regarding this program
that will allow you to watch over 1000 programs with this download. Anyone used it? Safe and legit? At the price, it would sure work for me since I had to drop my extended service and have since not been able to watch KO and now, Rachel.

I am usually skeptical of the buy on TV stuff but if this is any good, Out comes the plastic. My current options are abysmal.

1. If it was good they wouldn't be advertising via spam

In other words, put it in the "too good to be true" file. From this review at RGBScan I doubt you'll be satisfied:
I chose to first view the channels based here in America. At the time of this review, 334 (323 unique) USA channels are listed.

Breaking this down:

4 of these are weather channels (including the actual “The Weather Channel”)

There are 2 travel channels. One is a no name, the other is GlobeTrekker TV.

17 channels are sports related. Both ESPN and ESPN Sports are listed as choices in the channel browser but I have not yet been able to connect to these channels. One of the MLB channels is listed and did work. Also one interesting channel of note in this category is the “Backyard Wrestling Network” which although seems to be an amateur produced “channel” it was fairly hilarious to watch.

11 of the channels are shopping related (read QVC and Home Shopping Network)

11 of the channels are religious programming of the UHF and Sunday morning infomercial variety.
Much more: http://www.rgbscan.com/2007/08/02/dtv4pc-review

Also, in an update to that post the author notes he was unable to obtain his money back under their "30 Day Guarantee".

Basically it's a lot of crap you probably wouldn't care about. Crap like 9 local cable access channels. If you have broadband there are other ways of obtaining, somewhat less than legally, TV shows.

2. All I want is MSNBC, the rest I could do without. Comcast will not
let us choose. It is now a choice of junk at $8.00 a month or extended junk at $54.00 a month. The only exception to the junk was MSNBC but they have taken it away now even for the extended service under the guise of digital switch. I will not, and financially cannot afford to give Comcast any more money and will not rent their digital box or go back to a hundred dollars a month for internet and cable tv. One small Social security check plus my part time job doesn't go too far.

So much for that idea. If I see one more evangelical, home shopping or foreign language for my current choices, I'll scream. My options under basic are 2 PBS, 4 Foreign, 3 shopping, 1 local,1 New England News plus ABC, NBC, CBS. I think there are one or 2 misc junk but they are too bad to even think about watching. Thats it folks OOps, forgot, Food Network.

3. You can watch Keith and Rachel podcasts with iTunes.
And there are no commercials!
