I installed Firefox 3 RC3 beta on my secondary computer and it ran fine. It fixed a problem I was having loading Gmail. It has a lot of improvements. It is supposed to do a better job of memory management than previous versions. Most of my add-ins worked. I had a problem with Foxmarks that required a small security setting change on cookies. I figure it will take a few weeks for all of the add in developers to upgrade and make them compatible. If you are still running Windows 98 be aware that Firefox 3 only runs on 2000 and later versions of Windows.
