Looking for cheap, easy WP software that can link references like a research paper.

Immediately, I thought of Adobe. I have about a hundred articles/documents which have been jpg'd, and now I want to write a research paper and link the articles so the person who is reading the document can click on the link and see the supporting document, then link back to the position paper where he left off.

In order of importance, I need something that most people can use once they get the file without having to download software to read it. Second, I want cheap.

Any suggestions?

1. Adobe is pretty expensive--except for the reader which is free

one thing you could do is download something like open office, and then a printer driver like cutePDF. It allows you to print to a pdf file which can then be read by anyone.

3. MS OneNote that comes with Office 2007 is designed for projects and would be a choice. n/t
