AVG 8.0, Spyware Terminator, etc...

I had to remove Spyware Terminator from my XP Pro system. AVG 8 (free) didn't seem to get along with it very well.
Now I find out that AVG 8's email scanner times out after 30 days?

I am looking for an all-in-one anti-virus/adware-spyware scanner that provides automatic updates, real-time protection including email, and does not hog resources.

Is there such a freeware anymore?

And I don't like to put all my eggs in one basket when it comes to protection. I've learned that the all in one apps don't necessarily work better than separate ones. that's why I use Spywareblaster, Spybot S&D, Advanced Windows Care, AVG and Comodo. Each one does what it's supposed to do fairly well without being too cluttered.
