Are there any free online places to download worksheets to bridge between grades?
My daughter just finished first grade and I want to download worksheets so she can stay sharp this summer.

1. This looks pretty good
i just did a quick Google search. This site looks OK.

http://abcteach.com/

Book stores have grade-appropriate workbooks available - my 1st-grader got one from his teacher to take home for the summer.
I plan to have him do a page or 2 each week. Right now he's finishing the last day of College for Kids, so I thought we'd start next week. :)

2. I use Enchanted Learning.
They have worksheets, wordfinds, mazes, craft ideas. Here are some sample pages http://members.enchantedlearning.com/sample/. I also used an online math program called ALEKS last year. Your library probably has a summer reading program as well. I got my kids signed up last year and then instituted a quite reading hour. I needed the break, and it kept their little minds busy, too, so good for everyone :)

3. amazon.com has a book I always buy my grade-school kids
called Summer Bridge Activities. You do a page a day - not too much work at all. Its only $9 plus shipping.

4. Here is a free 1-month trial for ALEKS, an online math tutorial program.
My daughter does it and loves it.
