I had to vote that it was a "good thing" (tm) - my daughter is transracially adopted.

3. My daughter's best friend is a transracial adoptee.
So is her brother (special needs for him as well). Awesome, well-adjusted kids, she's an excellent student, and the family is great (it was even an open adoption). I've never seen a 'bad' situation with anyone I've known in this situation.

4. IMO - a loving home is the 1st priority
Perhaps I'm overly simple when it comes to adoption, but I just think kids are not all that picky about who loves them...just as long as someone does. :shrug:
