1. This is a new one on me...
Okay, I give... What are they? I've never heard of "Cornish Cream Teas" before but, being the "butter queen of the world" I'm most curious. :9

the cream is for the scones. that you eat with the tea. It's a wonderful cream that's somewhere between butter & whipped cream, incredibly sweet.

5. Recipe for clotted cream on Paula Deens "Cooking with Paula"
--Food Network site. I copied it off last night. Very simple to make. I just have to fine cream that is not ultra-pasteurized.

I was at Wild Oats this afternoon and found some clotted cream with brandy, but I don't want the brandy. If I could find anyone selling straight-up Jersey Cows' milk I could make my own.

6. We just had a high tea at the office
my boss is from the UK and she and a coworker paired up to bring in scones, clotted cream, jams, and tea for the staff. Must have the jam with the clotted cream. Hm. Maybe I'll get some for home.
