We made a 100% Texas meal
last night! I had Friends visiting from Dallas by way of Galveston!

I must brag. Please indulge me! :)

Menu:

Fresh lump crab meat ( from Galveston off the boat ) made with organic lemons from a farm here in central Texas. Falfurrias butter from Kellers Creamery. http://www.kellerscreamery.com/our-brands/falfurrias/

Fresh grilled kabobs again off the boat in galveston.

Kabobs: Shrimp, red onion, baby squash small red potatoes grilled with mesquite flavored organic olive oil made in Texas.

Salad, with organic Texas grown butter lettuce, baby carrots, fresh cucumber, purple bell pepper. Salad dressing was a garlic sesame made right here in Austin.

Desert, organic pie made with blueberries and apples.

Wine, Fall Creek Texas Chardonnay.

Any Austinites out there that wants ALL organic products, fresh and easy on the wallet I would suggest the SFC Farmers markets. Three locations. http://www.sfcfarmersmarket.org/

After our meal was done, we realized that everything we cooked and ate came right from our state! I am not sure if I have ever done that before! It was awesome!
