A Japanese Julia Child?
I've been trying to add some Japanese recipes and techniques to my cookery, but for the most part, Japanese cuisine and its methods have remained inscrutable. The ingredients seemed mysterious and were hard to find, and package instructions written in kanji are no help. These videos on youtube have really opened a door for me. There are more than 60 of them. Each begins with a brief weight loss ad, but be patient. The reward is pure gold.

3. I noticed that.
This is a great tutorial for someone (like me) who has a tiny kitchen. She's so efficient! :hi:

4. I used to do 10 course Chinese feasts on one portable propane burner
As long as the prep work was done and the rice was ready, it all went like clockwork. Ceramic bowls with overturned ceramic plates on top kept the first stuff warm until the last stuff was done.
