recipe FAIL
Well, I thought I'd found a good recipe! I checked the ingredients and it sounded tasty. THEN I read the directions:

Apple Bread Pudding

3 large cooking apples sliced
1/2 cup Wellesley Apple syrup
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
4 eggs beaten
11/2 cups milk
1 cup cream
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 tbs vanilla
5 cups dry French bread cubes

Combine flour, salt, lemon zest and sugar in the bottom of a large bowl and make a well in the centre. Add yolk and butter and combine with a pastry blender or your hands just until everything comes together. Turn mixture onto a floured surface and knead until it's smooth. Wrap the dough in plastic and let it rest in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. Press the chilled dough evenly into a 9-inch round removable bottom tart pan starting in the centre, using a knife to even off the edges. Prick the bottom and sides with a fork and freeze for 10 to15 minutes. Bake in a 375º F oven for 20 to 22 minutes until golden. Chill. Combine the mascarpone, lemon zest and sugar and spread into the bottom of the cooled tart shell. Place the raspberries in concentric circles starting at the edge and working your way to the centre. Brush the tops with the melted jelly.

FAIL.

Someone goofed LOL

I just had to share.

3. Yup, poor proofreading.
The ad from my local grocery said "Wild Caught King Salmon Fillets $8.99 lb" prominently on the front page. Unfortunately, the photo above the picture was a lobster tail.
