Eric Rusch writes:
"This is my favorite rye bread recipe of all time… so far. I could have just as easily called it Swedish Rye Bread or Aroma Therapy Bread for that matter (takes the coveted baking bread smell to another level). And if you’re not into sourdough baking, no problem, I cover the instant yeast version as well."

1. I keep looking for a recipe for Baldwin Hill sourdough rye
Their wheat recipes are online but not that rye recipe.

The loaf was round, heavy as lead, dense, and would mold within 12 hours unfrozen. The best way to deal with it was to get it home, slice it, and freeze it in the bag--FAST.

The bread was dense and wonderfully sour. A slice of sourdough rye, some Swiss cheese, and a pinch each of dill and summer savory in the toaster oven would make a meal for an Emperor. Throw in a salad of dark leafy stuff and it was pure heaven.

The rye at Breadtopia would be both too sweet and too highly spiced to suit me.

Maybe I can persuade the Baldwin Hill people to move to a kinder climate.

3. Look for caraway in the section where they sell pickling spices
They might have them separately instead of all mixed in with the pickling mixtures.
