1. I learned how to do a decent imitation with the dried stuff
and that was to throw out that flavor packet and use homemade broth, lots of veggies, seaweed, soy sauce, and shreds of whatever I'd made the broth of. The noodles in those packets aren't the problem, those salty flavor packs are.

The one exception to that was a Mexican ramen I saw very briefly here in NM that had a chile & lime flavor pack that was actually good. I'd still fill the bowl with plenty of veggies, maybe some tofu or fish for protein.

Slurping is obligatory no matter the origin of the noodles.
