2. I don't even use a recipe for apricot filling.
It's this easy:

1. Soak dried apricots overnight in water in the refrigerator.
2. Drain them (reserve liquid) and put them in the food processor.
3. Add some orange zest. (This is optional, but tastes good, and improves the color.)
4. Process, adding a small amount of the reserved soaking liquid if needed. (Add only enough to have it grind up properly. This should not be at all runny.)

That's it. You could add sugar or honey to taste if you want it sweeter.
