Any one here cook with a tagine?

I keep seeing them everywhere and I'm always intrigued, but have hesitated to get one since I had no idea which one would be best.

1. It's on my list to Santa

I actually researched and then bought one a couple of years ago but ended up giving it to a friend who is an amazing chef and watched him break it in and cook meals in it. It's pretty simple but if you have a gas stove I think it might be best to get a diffuser rather than place it directly on the flame. And there are varying opinions about whether to get one that's been glazed or unglazed, etc. But this friend has made some amazing meals for us in it! Here's a site I bookmarked when searching:

2. We've used a romertopf

clay baker for years. It does strange and wonderful things to whatever you cook in it. Strictly for oven use, however.
