Does anyone have a good meatball recipe - appetizer style?
I need to make it early and then freeze it. I'm not sure if all meatball recipes can be frozen - I need to make it early this week and have them for a party on Nov. 24th, the Tuesday night before Thanksgiving.

Also if anyone has any other appetizers I can pre-make before next weekend and freeze, would be much appreciated, as I am going to be pressed for time with my company coming.

Thanks

1. I don't have a recipe but
I just kinda go with a sweet and sour thing. A little mild jalapeno jelly, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, maybe a wee bit of cilantro, whatever else sounds like it should go in there. LOL

Just kinda mix it up until it tastes good to me. :hi:

3. The easiest sauce
A bottle of Chili Sauce (by the ketchup in the store...It will say Chili Sauce...I'm not talking salsa or Mexican sauce here) Add the Chili sauce to a small jar of grape jelly and mix together. (I know...but just go with it....) Add the cooked meat balls and let it cook together until heated through. I usually just throw it in the crock pot. You can also throw those little hot dogs in this sauce too.

4. This one is easy,
and to make it even easier, you can purchase pre-made meatballs if you like. I'm going to make this recipe in a few weeks, but going to make veggie meatballs. Had some great suggestions from this group.

Buffalo Chicken Meatballs

2 pounds ground chicken or turkey
1½ cups bread crumbs
2 eggs, whisked
¼ cup milk
¼ cup parsley
1/3 cup Romano cheese
salt to taste
pepper to taste
Hot-sauce dressing:
½ cup hot sauce (your choice)
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cajun seasoning
½ cup melted butter
salt to taste
pepper to taste
• In a bowl, mix together ground chicken, bread crumbs, egg, milk, parsley, cheese and seasoning. Form into small balls. Put balls on a sheet pan in an oven preheated to 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Once done, toss with hot-sauce dressing and serve. Garnish with celery and your choice of either bleu cheese or ranch dressing. Makes about 6 servings.
